Rik 0 Posted October 5, 2000 Try some of the different skins, some of these have ultra-compact views. Share this post Link to post

bobbinbrisco 0 Posted October 6, 2000 thanks for the low topc rating... i have seen WM7 in compact mode just like you can in 6.4 but i just don't know how to do it ------------------ 2 Computers (networked)both have : Intel SE440BX2 Pentium III 700Mhz (100) LS-120 120 Mb (100MHz) Fujitsu 17.3 GB Ultra DMA 66/10.2 GB Ultra DMA 66 Mitsubihi 50X IDE Creative Vibra PCI 128bit Matrox Millenium G400 16Mb AGP/Diamond Speedstar 8Mb AGP Bay Netgear 10/100PCI Medium ATX Tower case 120W Multimedia MS INternet KB (PS2) MS Win2000 Pro Share this post Link to post
Down8 0 Posted October 6, 2000 Did you try the Miniplayer skin? It is a skin that comes with the stupid thing, and is very small. [edit] Of course, you could always just use the old media player when you want a compact mode. youhou 0 Posted October 6, 2000 there 's a semi-compact mode in MediaPlayer7 but it sucks big time. and I mean it. you can use the skin "classic" that's the closest you'll get to "compact mode" and it runs when you are viewing videos. but don't get fooled by mediaplayer7 or only if you don't need to: -save the files you just viewed -have a real compact mode. -run multiple instances. -be able to configure the decoders. (you cannot adjust DivX :)properties for example) - some stuff I forgot... but if you like the "eye candy"...the crapy media library... the vis...and the ugly skins... you choose.
