Removing history items, I guess?

I'm tired of looking at items that I typed out months ago...

 

Is there a way I can remove the entries that pop up on webpages(say if I search for motherboard on ebay, come back weeks later, and type "M", it will bring that up)?

 

I just want to start over...kind of like clearing its history.
