Jane Silber writes that there has been a security breach on the Ubuntu

site, ubuntuorg. She explains what has happened and says

that Canonical is working with software providers to address how the

attackers were able to gain access. Jane also says Canonical has begun

the process of notifying all users whose details were compromised by

email and apologizes "for the breach and ensuing inconvenience."
