Wrath 0 Posted December 29, 2000 Have you spoken to anyone else who has watched the exact same rip? Odds are its the rip itself. We used to have some Divx rips at work. I remember in particular that happened with a Mission Impossible 2 cam...and it happened there on both computers and here at home, so I'm guessing its rip related. Try getting a different copy. EddiE314 0 Posted December 29, 2000 Are the rips in .asf or .avi format? i've had that same problem with ASF rips Share this post Link to post
SHS 0 Posted December 29, 2000 Divx is nothing more then a hack up ver of MS MPEG-4 Video Codec V3. So do your self a big favor don't waste your time with it. Share this post Link to post
EddiE314 0 Posted December 30, 2000 yea, i've noticed hardly any difference with divx and ms mpeg4, i personally think i get a better frame rate when i encode with mpeg4. Share this post Link to post
Silent-IQ 0 Posted December 30, 2000 hehe, divx is slightly better for dvd rips than microsofts mpeg4...coz m$ mpeg4 is restrected in some ways. well the divx movies that hack up on my computer work fine on other comps....but i think i found the problem in DirectDraw on my machine. /Silent Share this post Link to post
miku 0 Posted December 30, 2000 Use Media Player 6.4, it would work smooth. ARC Share this post Link to post
