miku 0 Posted January 9, 2001 Hi, Is there a way to change the default folder icon for windows 2000. I looked in Folder option and found a file type called "Folder" but I cant change the icon, it is greyed out. Is there any way other than using a program. ARC Share this post Link to post

jaywallen 0 Posted January 10, 2001 Hi, miku. There's a way, other than using a third party program. Don't know how useful it will be for your particular purposes, but you can find it at this link - http://www.pcforrest.freeserve.co.uk/driveico.htm Regards, Jim Share this post Link to post
EddiE314 0 Posted January 10, 2001 yea, that works too, but it's a little difficult, especially if you're a beginner or if you're too lazy to do all of that. But it does work. Share this post Link to post
jaywallen 0 Posted January 12, 2001 Yup. I only mentioned that method because miku said "any way other than using a program". As for me, I like my plain old Windows folders just the way they are. But then I'm a man of simple tastes. Regards, Jim Share this post Link to post
