anak1 0 Posted January 28, 2001 I recently downloaded PS2Rate for Windows 2000. I set the rate to 150 but on boot I can't even move my mouse. Anyone have a work around? The 100hz set by windows is too slow for some games. Thanks. Share this post Link to post
HN 0 Posted January 29, 2001 Did you remember to disable "Fast Initialization" in the mouse properties hardware tab before using the program? Share this post Link to post
ThC 129 0 Posted January 29, 2001 you dont even need PS/2 rate windows 2k comes built in with a program to do it in the mouse properties. Share this post Link to post
anak1 0 Posted January 29, 2001 Yeah i know about that program but it only goes up to 100hz. I still have some blurriness and choppiness with mouse movement(no it isnt the refresh rate). I will try that fast initialization thing though. Share this post Link to post
Corinthian 0 Posted January 29, 2001 I too had that problem. I set the rate to 200 hz to fix the problem. At 150 hz my mouse would not move at all. Mouse Rate Checker reports only 150 hz though... I guess it is the limit for my mouse. Share this post Link to post
