JBoDEAN 0 Posted February 7, 2001 Hi have win2k, and just put on 1.2 beta of MS Game Voice. I am using newest version of Roger Wilco. When I play Aces High online, my buddies that I am chatting with say that I break up from time to time, and that it is hard to hear me. I am running Direct X 8.0a and wondering how I can solve this problem, and if anyone else has had this problem. When I am not in the game, it sounds fine (my processor specs are on the bottom) Any ideas? ------------------ [Here is my system] Intel Celeron 566 @ 901 Abit BE6 Rv1 3d Prophet 2 Mx (6.34 drivers) Soundblaster Live! Down8 0 Posted February 7, 2001 Could it be that your processor/bandwidth are eating the space needed for GameVoice to run? -bZj Share this post Link to post
cuke 0 Posted February 7, 2001 Hi, you've not said what kind of modem you are using, some, that use CPU clock cycles and those are called 'software modems',will cause that to happen with your sound. Chris Share this post Link to post
ThC 129 0 Posted February 8, 2001 also make sure you are not using direct sound recording. I had a similar problem until i used wav recording not direct sound recording and it was fine after i switched. Share this post Link to post
