isochar 0 Posted February 8, 2001 Hi, Just did an install of Flash 5, and everytime I try to run it I get this error: flash.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created. I've looked through the Macromedia support, and tried the recommendation of installing/running Flash 5 under safe mode. Unfortunately this didn't work Any ideas, help, suggestions would be appreciated! Share this post Link to post

isochar 0 Posted February 9, 2001 I uninstalled Flash 5, then installed the Flash 5 trial. The trial loads a bit farther, I can see the navigation bar and the splash screen start loading, but then it closes. Does this narrow down the problem at all? Share this post Link to post
