Jelena 0 Posted March 7, 2001 Hi, I have NT Server. After formatting HDD we discovered that accidentally some very important files were not saved. Is it possible to undelete them? Please help. Thanks in advance. Share this post Link to post
CUViper 0 Posted March 7, 2001 number 1 rule to avoid pissing people off in this forum - DON'T DOUBLE POST!! (or in your case, triple post) Most of us read all the categories, so just pick one area and stick with it.... Regarding your question, it depends on what kind of format you did - if it was just a quick format, then the data should still be on the disk for retrieval (provided it hasn't been overwritten already). I think there are utilities to help with that... anyone know more? On the other hand, if you did a full format, then I think you're SOL. You MIGHT ask one of those data recovery agencies what they think if it's really that important. Really though, if it's that important, why didn't you make periodic backups of it? food for thought...
